Challenge 32 Cute card Thursday

This is my first card for Cute Card Thursday. The challenge was autumn. If you read my other entries you'll know what I think of autumn so I won't bore you again :) . I did enjoy makingthis card though. I used PennyBlacks T for Transparent stamp, the ribbon is from a kit I received from Mad about ribbon, and the leaf background I made myself using a maple leaf stamp (can't remember where from and it's just the rubber) , inked and embossed in different colours.

The challenge from weekend taggers this time was Autumn inspired. Now, some people wax lyrical about autumnal colours. The misty , mellow fruitfulness..... Yes, it's eye catching in a wood with leaves turning colour , it's fun to go find conkers. I acknowlegde all of these things and all the other things that people say make autumn beautiful. However, all those leaves need clearing up, usually in a constant drizzle of cold rain and a sharp wind. I am not a fan of autumn. All the seasons have their downsides but their upsides make them lovely, autumn , for me, doesn't inspire anything other than a big sigh! So I decided not to lie and say I was inspired by autumn, but rather do something within the autumn calendar that I enjoy. (mostly because I have yet to grow up!) So here is my tag.
BOO!
(The stamp is Penny Black's witch kitty.)

This is my offering for http://weekendtaggers.blogspot.com/
week 27, use an altered flower on a tag. Well, I'm new to tags, and I've never altered anything before. OK, well, not on purpose.lol. So I doubt this is great, but it's my first attempt and it truly is altered. The material started out life as a pillowcase. I used red chalk catseyes to ink it, and glittered it with modpodge, after sewing a button on and some detail on the petals. (This doens't show up too well though.) And yes, it's another tag towards Christmas , well I've 4 kids so I'm going to need a few tags aren't I?
Thank you for the challenge, and one day mine will be as good as the DT's!

PBSC was to use the sketch . I tried really hard but I don't have anything words suitable to use in a circle, so I resized my circle into a lozenge. Probably very bad of me :(
I didn't find this sketch as easy to use as some of the others, not sure why. The DT's cards are fab, go look at them and ignore my paltry offering.

All in all, I think this week has not been one of my best craft wise- oh well, next week!

PBSC's new challenge was seasons. I was sooo tempted to do a winter one so I could add it to my Christmas card pile! I didn't though, I decided to do Spring to lift my spirits after looking at yet another grey and murky sky :)

Found this site - http://weekendtaggers.blogspot.com/ 'Tag you're it' whilst wondering around UK Scrappers. The challenge was to create a tag using the sketch. I did do most of the sketch but had to change it a little as you were supposed to add a sentiment and I found my paper said it all LOL............so I didn't.
I've not made tags before and alsways thought (they were a little bit of a waste of time) but after looking at some of the beautiful tags on the site, I've become a convert.....so this is my offering.:)
